There are numerous current University of Oregon student athletes participating in the CHAMP℠ program across all sports. Unfortunately, NCAA rules prohibit us from listing any names or photos of Division I student athletes who have NCAA eligibility left so we can’t show you the bulk of our participants. However we are allowed to list athletes who have finished their eligibility. Here are some of the athletes that have participated in the CHAMP℠ program (and may still currently be) and have finished their NCAA eligibility.

Dennis Dixon
Football (Quarterback)
Career Highlights: Starting quarterback for the 2006 and ’07 teams. His senior year, led the Ducks to a #2 national ranking and was the frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy before injuring his knee. Named Pacific-10 Conference’s unanimous Offensive Player of the Year and received numerous academic awards including the NCAA Top VIII Award (given by the NCAA to honor eight outstanding senior student-athletes of the preceding calendar year nation-wide). Currently playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers where he won a Super Bowl ring in 2008.

Jonathan Stewart
Football (Running Back)
Career Highlights: Left for the NFL after his Junior year where he was a First-team All-Pac-10 Conference choice...Semifinalist for the Maxwell Award, given to the college player of the year, and Doak Walker Award, presented to the nation's top running back...Played in 13 games with 12 starts...Led the conference with a school record 1,722 rushing yards on 280 carries with 11 touchdowns...Rushed for more than 100 yards in nine games, including two 200-yard performances. Drafted # 13 in the NFL’s 1st round by the Carolina Panthers.

Starting linebacker for the 2005-’06 team which finished #12 in the Nation. Anthony led the team in tackles (99), tackles for loss (15.5), sacks (11) and fumble recoveries (3). Signed in 2007 with the *National Football League’s Washington Redskins* |

Garren Strong

Career Highlights: A heady, possession receiver. His senior year he caught 27 passes for 249 yards. Currently interning at Nike. |

Aaron Brooks
Basketball (Point Guard)
Career Highlights: All-American, John R. Wooden Award Winner, and 1st Team Pac-10 player. Aaron led the Pac-10 in scoring at 17.7 points per game while helping his team to the NCAA Elite 8 during the 2007 season. Selected by Houston in the first round (26th overall) of the 2007 NBA Draft, Aaron is currently the starting Point Guard for the Houston Rockets. |

Malik Hairston
Men's Basketball (Guard/Forward)
Career Highlights: A top 10 recruit nationally coming out of high school. Led the Ducks to the NCAA tournament twice during his four years in an Oregon uniform. Graduated from the U of O in only 3 years at the age of 20. Drafted in the second round by the Phoenix Suns in the NBA’s ’08 draft before being traded to the San Antonio Spurs. Currently playing in the NBA’s “D” league where he is averaging 23 points, 5.5 rebs, and 4 assists.

Brandon Lincoln
Men’s Basketball (Guard/Forward)
Played four positions as a senior. Held team best 32” vertical jump. Scored career high 22 points vs. Cal in Pac-10 championships. In high school won an Oregon state title at Jefferson and was ranked as the second best player in the state. |

Brandi Davis
Women’s Basketball (Guard)
One of the most exciting players to wear an Oregon Ducks uniform in program history, often making the improbable shot. Ranks second all-time on Oregon’s all-time list for three-pointers with 186, only four 3’s from ranking 1. Boasted the top vertical jump on the team (26 inches), which is the second-best in program history. Currently playing for the *WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks* |

Career Highlights: A 4 time Oregon Women’s Team MVP, ESPN Academic All-District, 1st Team All Regional, and All American. Owns the Oregon Career mark of 185 points scored. |

Career Highlights: All-American and 2006 Pac-10 Player of the Year. Nicole holds or shares 19 different school records including career goals scored (34), game-winning goals (22), multi-goal games (6), assists (15), points (83) |

Jesse Chatfield
Women's Soccer (Goalie)
Career Highlights: Set Oregon career records for wins with 25, and shutouts with 16. She also finishes her career tops in goals allowed average at 1.34 per game and third in saves with 233. Chatfield also excelled in the classroom, where she was a two-time Pac-10 and CoSIDA District 8 all-academic selection. |

Amy Harris
Softball (Pitcher)
In 2005 season became the school all-time strikeout leader, posted a 1.30 ERA and garnered 2nd Team all-Pac-10 honors. Battled injuries in 2006 finishing with a 1.99 ERA, striking out 106 batters and winning 9 games. |

Akobundu (AK) Ikwuakor
Track (110 Hurdles, 400, 400 Hurdles)
Two-time All-American for Ducks in 4x400 relay in 2005, and also earned two NCAA invites in the 110 hurdles and another in the 400 hurdles. |

Eric Mitchum
Track (Hurdles)
Career Highlights: Four-time All-American and five-time NCAA veteran in the short hurdles races. Owns the Oregon school record in the 110 hurdles and 60 hurdles and is currently ranked 2nd all time in Oregon history in the 400 hurdles. Ranks 5th all time in Pac-10 history in the 110 hurdles. In 2004 was NCAA runner up in 110 hurdles. |

Cody Fleming
Track (Decathalon)
Cody is currently training for the 2008 US Olympic Trials.
As a Duck athlete in 2004-05 and 2005-06, he placed top-10 in the league decathlon as a junior (fourth, 6,980) and senior (10th), and was also a Pac-10 competitor in the high jump, javelin and discus.

Jeff Lindsey
Track (High Jump)
Ranks fifth all-time for Oregon in high jump (7-1 3/4). During 2003-04’ season qualified for NCAA and missed finals by only one bar. |

Kristin Forristall
Volleyball (Middle Blocker)
Career Highlights: Started off on a Basketball scholarship before joining the Volleyball team her Junior year. Her first year, she led the team with 117 blocks and ranked second in attack percentage among hitters. Her senior year she tallied 120 blocks and 244 kills. A standout academically she was Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention. |

Three year starting setter for the University of Oregon. During her senior season (2006-’07), Heather helped lead her team to the NCAA tournament and the team’s best season since 1989. |
