CHAMP Workouts unites kids with the college athletes they admire in order to improve their athletic skills and provide kids with a mentor they can emulate both on and off the field. Sport specific skill training and topic specific mentoring will be given by current Division I athletes in a private or group setting depending on each client’s preference.

This year-round program has already inspired numerous boys and girls of all skill levels both on and off the field in a variety of sports. This is an experience that you or your child will never forget!

The College Hero Athletic Mentoring Program (CHAMP) is open to boys and girls in elementary, middle, and high schools.

We offer all NCAA sanctioned intercollegiate Division I sports that are currently played at the University of San Francisco. Availability will depend on the time of year, and it may take a few days before training can begin since athletes must be contacted and coordinated. Examples include Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Men's and Women’s Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Golf, Track and Field, Cross Country, Tennis and outside sports like Football and Lacrosse.

The CHAMP Workouts program is extremely flexible and can be tailored to each individual’s need. Here is a sample of what the program could include but is not limited to:

  • Private workouts are 1 hour and Group training sessions last between 1 and 1.5 hours
  • Private and Group training sessions
  • Initial skills assessment and feedback to parents (verbal)
  • Progress reports (verbal)
  • Training based on the skill development drills that the athletes do themselves!
  • Learn drills that athletes do to improve quickness and strength!

  • At least 15 minutes of each lesson will be dedicated to discussions of a mentoring topic that has been pre-selected by parents
  • A personal relationship with the college student-athlete
  • We are here to encourage, answer questions and inspire
